V-I-C-T-O-R-Y YES!

What an incredible morning to wake up to such news! Below is one of our guestbook entries:

"5-26-2006Tim Walberg http://www.walbergforcongress.com/Tipton, MI, USRobert and Angela,Received your card asking for my support of HB5267. As a former State Representative, and now a conservative candidate for Congress in MI-7 I am pleased to support this legislation that has the best interests of the kids in mind...and in fact will ultimately be best for the parents. You can add my name to the list of supporters. All the best.Tim Walberg; Candidate for Congress MI-7"

In full force some of our organization's members, along with Dads and Moms of MI and the Family Rights Coalition of MI got out the vote for Tim Walberg! Walberg won against his INCUMBENT candidate Schwarz which is not an easy task. Schwarz campaign spent roughly $1.2 million and Walberg $344,000 which further proves that nothing is more powerful than grassroots activity along with multiple group networking! Robert Pedersen is also going to the county and state conventions and received an out of the ordinary large number of votes for a such a small political position that is oftentimes overlooked on the ballot. This showed strength in his message. Myself and some volunteers went door-to-door within Precinct 2 for Robert Pedersen, Walberg and Wenke. It was fun!

Butler lost which was a big surprise but both Bouchard and Butler support Michigan House Bill 5267 which is a powerful sign of strength. We have not updated our scorecard in some time but more and more Reps support this bill and we are confident it will pass. Not just men are affected by what happens here in Michigan; women, grandparents, aunts and uncles know that what happens to children after a divorce is wrong. If both parents are fit, as defined by the courts - not a vindictive, mean spirited ex; then the child should not be denied the love of a parent. We are expecting WELL OVER 1,000+ people will attend the rally in Sept for parental and children rights. Our collective organizations are now looking very closely at how we can make a similar impact in November, especially in Calhoun County. I am so very proud of my soon to be husband who remains happy and positive, despite numerous challenges that he is currently facing. Thank you everyone and thank you again for making this organization a success! Best, Angela Keene-Kennedy, R.N.
